Salaam Bombay….
This was my 2nd visit to Mumbai or I could say this was my first official client visit by company. First was totally unofficial and it happened before 4 or 5 year back. By now I remembered only Mumbai has very fast and rocking life No body has time to share something with you. I had only remembered fast local train, Fashion Street in my vivid memory. Yes one more thing I didn’t get Samosha by then when I was trawling at so many stations
My jaunt was started from my office to railway station of Indore with laptop and company accessories with company colleague. Every thing was on brink we were missing some mobile driver which needed to load an application from computer to mobile device. Anyway I just packed up the things and went to station and finally train was late by 1 hour. Ultimately train came to station and we took our seat in reservation compartment and mean time from office to station we had collected our dinner package from “Good Food Gone”. As I had my magazine and mobile phone so I thought there was no space for other things. As train was running we introduced 6 people they were also part of our compartment. 3 of them were going to business trip and one was going to some official work. One girl was returning after performing a singing show. Remaining one person we didn’t get chance to introduce him.
My journey date was 17th August that was 6 days after torrential bomb blast and deluge in Mumbai. No body in our compartment was scared about bomb blast. As I guessed everything was normal. Every body was discussing this is normal routine of any Indian city there was nothing wrong with Mumbai. As we started discussion about bomb blast one person put comment was amazing and surprising “Daily 200 hoi polloi dies in different road accident” if motley crowd of 200 died together what is wrong with it. I didn’t have any answer of this quarry.
I realized how soon people of Mumbai overcame doleful situation. Average people of London took 15 days to overcome this ilk of mourning situation. Somebody suggested me If Mumbaikar stops working due to bomb blast they can’t eat in the evening. This is real hard story of any Indian city. Some suggested me “we can’t aggravate situation to stop working.”
It is real Mumbai which stands after torrential bomb blast. I appreciate people of Mumbai and Salaam them.
